Any business entity, either a private organization or a public NGO practicing social entrepreneurship may apply to The J-Fund provided it has a sound business idea to promote the employment of people with disabilities or handicapped.
2.What disabilities are recognized by The J-Fund?
In general The J-Fund does not specify the kind of disability involved.What is key is that some physical injury or mental, physical or social prevents the person from gaining a suitable job in the marketplace.
3.What are the advantages of The J-Fund in comparison to a bank loan?
Basically the terms of the loan are very convenient in all aspects. The loan is a non interest- bearing loan with a payback period of up to 5 years.
4. May I apply to The J-Fund if my operation is in a country other than Bosnia-Herzegovina or Croatia?
Not yet.At the current time only projects in Bosnia-Herzegovina or Croatia can apply.The J-Fund hopes to be able to expand to other countries in Europe in the coming years.
